Fashion shoot: Horror movie style

For our Hallowe’en shoot we took inspiration from three classic horror flicks that have stood the sartorial test of time. Good style can be found in the strangest of places, and these fictional psychopaths and scream queens have it in abundance. Whether you’re still on the hunt for some Hallowe’en costume ideas, or looking to add a hint of evil to your autumn wardrobe, look no further than here for a splash of blood-splattered style!

Photographers: Tom Dorrington and Aiden Chan

Styling: Megan Lea

Models: Laura Brandt, Ronald Prokeš, Posey Mehta and Johannes Black

Makeup: Helena Baron

ROSEMARY’S BABY: Was there ever a more chic mother-to-be of the spawn of Satan than a pastel mini-dress clad Mia Farrow? I doubt it. Recreate her style with babydoll dresses and oversized collars – trip to Vidal Sassoon optional.

AMERICAN PSYCHO: A classic black suit and simple tie is all you need for style so sharp you could use it to murder your friends and coworkers. A clear plastic mac is equal parts quirky and practical, though probably best to leave the axe at home…

THE SHINING: Kubrik’s classic is testament to the reliability of knitwear and plaid shirts in even the most supernatural of situations. Layer up your turtlenecks and autumn hues to keep the chills at bay, and remember: all work and no style makes Jack a dull boy.

From all of us at TCS, happy Hallowe'en!
