Cheeky Cow: Gigi’s Drink of the Week

An udderly delicious nightcap and a-moo-sing drink. Once you’ve herd of this, you’ve herd it all.


  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • Generous glug of rum
  • Splash of Angostura bitters
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • Brown sugar
  • Cinnamon


  1. Heat the milk in a saucepan over a low heat. Whisking the milk will give it an extra indulgent kick. (Pardon the pun. Cows don’t do that, usually).
  2. Stir together the rum, Angostura and vanilla in your favourite mug.
  3. Top with milk and add brown sugar to taste.
  4. Sprinkle over cinnamon.
  5. Drink with satisfaction, you cheeky cow.

Not feeling your cheeky self? Omit the alcohol for a pure milky moment. 

Top tip: Be sure to heat milk slowly and gently. Patience is the key. Keep stirring to avoid a layer of film forming.
