Earl Grey Gin

Earl Grey teabags

Lemon juice

1. Put three teabags in a mug and pour over half a wine glass of gin. Leave for about fifteen minutes or so.
2. While you wait, dissolve four tablespoons of caster sugar in four tablespoons of hot water. Let it cool.
3. Pour your sugar syrup and Grey gin (minus bags) into a jam jar. Squeeze in two lemons worth of juice. No tea-stirrers allowed – give this a good shake (lid on of course).  Add your ice and shake again.
4. Strain into a glass. Sip politely.
