King’s College hammer and sickle to stay

18 February 2010

King’s students have voted to keep the controversial hammer and sickle painting in their bar. Results from 48 hours of voting show that only 55 students wanted the insignia removed. 203 wished the symbol to remain, and 111 wanted it replaced with something else. The referendum has been a historic event for KCSU, since its constitution had to be suspended so that the vote could take place.
