Lacrosse girls trounce Bath

Cambridge beat Bath convincingly at home on Wednesday. After crushing Cardiff 31-0 last week, the Blues have played, and beaten, everyone in their league.

However, with mixed results in the rest of the league, Cambridge can take nothing for granted. The game opened with two quick goals from Pugh and Allard, but Bath were determined, and goals from both teams left the score at 3-2. The Blues regained composure and goals from Hirst, Lehovsky and Morrill, left the half-time score at 10-2.

Cambridge continued this momentum in the second. The defence nullified Bath and the attack continued to score. Fresher Morril bagged herself nine goals, and Duck augmented a stout defensive performance with a goal of her own. The Blues look ominously good yet again.
