A suicide bomber attacked an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester Arena at 10:33pm last night, killing 22 people. A vigil was held outside the Cambridge Guildhall in light of this at 11am this morning.

Reports currently show that the lone male attacker attacked the arena as the audience was leaving. The incident is currently being treated as a terrorist attack.

Daniel Zeichner, Labour parliamentary candidate for Cambridge, who organised the vigil, commented, "I know the thoughts of everyone in Cambridge are with the families who have tragically lost loved ones."

"Terror has struck once again in one of our great cities. Today it is right to take time out to mourn and to reflect but also to celebrate the work of our emergency services and restate that we all have more in common than that which divides us."

Julian Huppert also attended to vigil.
