Oxbridge second best to Harvard (again)

Cambridge University has been beaten by Harvard yet again in the Times’s World University Rankings.

For the fourth consecutive year the Times put Harvard in the top spot.

But Cambridge has come second for two years running after climbing from 6th in 2004.

Overall, 32 UK universities featured in the top 200.

Wendy Piatt, director general of the Russell Group said that the table showed “the real strength and global impact” of UK universities.
