For the latest instalment of Society Spotlight, TCS Telly’s Sophie Huskisson & Tallulah Young braved the gym to chat with the CUPLC: Cambridge University Powerlifting Club.
Powerlifting involves the three main compound lifts: squat, bench, and deadlift. As a strength sport, powerlifting helps to build muscle and burn fat, whilst improving athletic ability, reducing the risk of injury in other activities and, of course, making you stronger!
