‘The front door to die for’

There was a lavish opening ceremony for Cambridge University Students’ Union’s upmarket new offices at the New Museums Site when University vice-chancellor Alison Richard paid a visit.

And she heaped praise on her swanky surroundings, including the entrance (pictured above), which she called “a front door to die for”. The building has become a warmly welcomed new home for TCS, Varsity and RAG, as well as the CUSU executive team.

But it was CUSU services officer Adam Colligan who attracted the most plaudits – one colleague described him as “the Willy Wonka of our chocolate factory.”
