Totally Terrific Toffee Apples

Gigi Perry 7 November 2013

The ultimate Bonfire Night nibble just got a whole lot more fun.

Ingredients: 6 apples, 2 packets of vanilla toffees, 2 tbsp water/cream

  1. Remove the stalk from each apple then push a chopstick into the end.
  2. Melt the toffees and water/cream in either a microwave or pan. Then roll each apple to coat them with the toffee. Place on a buttered foil-lined baking tray and leave to set completely.
  3. If you’re smart (come on Cambridge), skip Steps 1 and 2 and use bought toffee apples.
  4. Dip the toffee apples into melted chocolate before rolling in your chosen topping. Pop them in the fridge to set.
  5. Enjoy for medicinal purposes. One a day keeps the doctor away.
