Varsity Trip sells out

The Varsity Ski Trip has officially sold out this morning, despite severe problems with booking yesterday.

Speaking to The Cambridge Student, Communications Director Alex Addison confirmed the news. He said, "Despite the technical issues issues that disrupted booking yesterday, all the places went within 24 hours of booking opening and we had more freshers sign up than ever before."

"We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who persevered, despite the difficulties they experienced, and managed to book on to the trip."

Yesterday, when booking opened at 8am, the travel company NUCO's booking site was so inunduated with hits that it had to be shut for maintenance. After considerable confusion, it was reopened at 6pm.

The Funiculaire Party, Pool Party and Comedy Night have all also sold out.

For those who missed their chance, there will be a waiting list while the committee try to find more beds in the resort.
