Windows are a way to see beyond the obvious. When looking through a window, everything looks a little different. Windows frame: they compartmentalise the world we see into a neat rectangle. Windows direct: they guide sunlight and shadows into shapes. Looking through a window is a reflection of the soul: the soul of a city’s history and culture, and the soul of an individuals life. The reflections of light, and views from a window, is something I explore in this photo collage, all taken on 35mm film.
